Mizzou OL Hyrin White enters transfer portal after missing season with injury

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team had another player enter the transfer portal Wednedsay in offensive lineman Hyrin White.

White redshirted at MU in 2017 for his freshman season and missed out on both the 2020 and 2022 seasons because of injuries.

In 2021, White started and played in 11 games at right tackle becoming an All-SEC honorable mention selection. He was a member of the line that blocked for Mizzou’s offense to average over 400 yards of offense per game.

The only way that White would be eligible to play next season is if the NCAA grants him a medical redshirt.

White becomes the tenth Tiger to enter the portal.
