Defensive end DJ Coleman becomes third Tiger to declare for NFL Draft

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou defensive end DJ Coleman becomes the third Tiger to sit out the Gasparilla Bowl and declare for the NFL Draft.

Coleman shared the news Tuesday on his Instagram where he thanked the Mizzou football program in his statement saying, "I'm thankful for all the brothers I made, and each program, those relationships will last forever."

He also thanked his coaches at Jackson College where he played four years before joining the Tigers as a graduate student.

In his past season in Columbia, Coleman played in all 12 games recording 38 total tackles and 5.5 sacks.

Coleman joins defensive lineman Isaiah McGuire and safety Martez Manuel who also declared for the draft.
