COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou sophomore wide receiver Dominic Lovett made it official Sunday that he will be entering the transfer portal on Monday.

Lovett made his announcement official on his Instagram saying, "I wouldn't change these past two years, it all has brought me to my current level."

Lovett had a big year for the Tigers catching 56 passes for 846 yards and three touchdowns. He had a career day with 10 receptions for 148 yards in the victory at South Carolina on Oct. 29.

Lovett becomes the seventh MU player to enter the portal so far since the regular season ended. He joins quarterback Tyler Macon, linebackers Devin Nicholson and Zach Lovett, defensive end Travion Ford and defensive backs DJ Jackson and Jalani Williams.
