Mizzou men’s basketball remains in the win column with victory over Coastal Carolina

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team took down Coastal Carolina Wednesday night 89-51 led by Rock Bridge alum Isiaih Mosley with a season-high 23 points. The Tigers stay in the win column at 6-0.

Mizzou led at the half 45-32 and came out of the locker room firing with a 22-3 run to extend the lead.

D'Moi Hodge had another big game with 18 points, five rebounds, seven assists and five steals followed by Kobe Brown with 17 points and seven boards.

Nick Honor reached 1,000 career points during Wednesday night's game where he had nine points.

Mizzou shot over 46% from the field and over 36% from the three points line, with 42 points coming in the paint.

Once again, the Tigers had over 20 assists for the sixth straight game this season, with 27 against the Chanticleers.

Up next - Mizzou will stay at home Saturday to take on Houston Christian at 11 a.m.
