Mizzou women remain undefeated in win against Western Kentucky

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

With three players scoring into the double-digits, the Mizzou women's basketball team captured its fourth win of the season against Western Kentucky on Monday night. The victory puts MU at 4-0 to start the season.

Senior Lauren Hansen led the team with 17 points in the victory. The guard actually had no points in the first half, however, she caught a hot hand and rang off 17, along with one block, one steal, and five assists.

Hayley Frank and Haley Troup followed up Hansen in scoring. Troup finished with 13, while Frank pocketed 12 points.

Head coach Robin Pingeton received a lot of help off the bench, as that group put up 19 points total points on Monday. Freshman Ashton Judd had nine points, three rebounds, and one steal, which marks her third straight solid outing for the Tigers.

Up next - Mizzou will continue the home stand and host UT Martin on Thursday night at Mizzou Arena. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m.
