Columbia College women’s soccer advances to AMC Championship

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 12 Columbia College women's soccer team has advanced to the AMC Championship after a 10-0 win over Stephens College on Monday.

This is the second straight game that the Cougars have put up 10 goals and the fourth straight shut out.

Izzy Cole and Isabella Govero led CC with two goals a piece.

Others came from: Jewel Morelan, Juana Wulff, Macie Lucas, Emilia Zolesio Ferna, Maddy Schrader and Cielo Rivera.

Victoria Heus and Kate Marshall both played a part in goal in the shut out.

Up next - Columbia College will be in the AMC Championship on Thursday. The time and opponent have not been announced.
