Mizzou can’t hang on in a nail-biter with Kentucky
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou Tigers did not come out with the win in a close home game with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Despite a 14 point fourth quarter, the Tigers came up short in the 21-17 loss in front of the biggest crowd in the Eli Drinkwitz era, 61,047 fans.

The Tigers were once again led by Blake Baker's defense with a huge six total sacks led by Darius Robinson with 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss.
DJ Coleman led the defense with nine total tackles, a half sack and two tackles for loss. Others came from Joseph Charleston, Trajan Jeffcoat, Ty'Ron Hopper and Realus Georgia Jr.
Brady Cook finished the day 16-of-23 with 127 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Luther Burden had six catches for 60 yards and Cody Schrader had 21 carries for 65 yards.
This marks the fourth SEC loss for Mizzou that has been decided within one score.
