Brady Cook ready for six more opportunities to turn season around
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou Tigers are preparing for the Homecoming Game Saturday against Vanderbilt and with a 2-4 record, starting quarterback Brady Cook is ready to turn things around.
"The way I see it, there's six more opportunities," Cook said. "I plan on changing this thing around. By the end of these six games, it's going to be a different story."
Each SEC loss has been decided by no more than a touchdown and Cook says he spent the bye week watching it all back to see what the offense can change moving forward.
"It's all right there, I could count on two hands the amount of plays that were needed to win those three games," Cook said. "I'm really confidence in our offense and our team that we're going to turn this around."
With the Homecoming Game on the horizon, the players sound ready to show the crowd what they can do.
"We always have a great crowd on homecoming, there's a lot of history here at Mizzou with it," said wide receiver Barrett Banister.
"It's homecoming, the fans and the family and everybody else looks forward to homecoming too," said wide receiver Tauskie Dove. "For us, focusing on the details and execution and coming out and getting a win."
