Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for wild-card series

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

The St. Louis Cardinals will kick off the National League wild-card series Friday at 1:07 p.m. at Busch Stadium against the Philadelphia Phillies.

This comes after the Cardinals lost its final regular season game Wednesday in Pittsburgh 5-3.

Tommy Edman led things at the plate going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Nolan Arenado also drove in a run.

Matthew Liberatore pitched five innings on the mound giving up five earned runs on six hits and recording three strikeouts.

Game one on Friday will be broadcasted on ABC 17. Game 2 will be played on Saturday at 7:37 p.m. and if necessary, game 3 will be held on Sunday at 7:37 p.m.
