Harrison Mevis kicked five field goals -- one week after a disappointing performance contributed to an overtime loss at Auburn -- as the Tigers fell to the Georgia Bulldogs 26-22. Two of those field goals were from more than 50 yards out.
Mizzou led into the final quarter of the game -- up 22-12 with 14 minutes to go. However, a fourth-quarter drive stalled out after an offensive penalty with the Tigers up by three. Georgia got the ball and marched down the field for a touchdown by running back Daijun Edwards and a four-point lead with just a few minutes remaining.
The Tigers could not recover.
Brady Cook went 20-32 passing with 192 yards and one touchdown.
