Mizzou soccer falls to Vanderbilt in final minutes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou soccer team fell to 1-2 in conference play on Sunday after a 2-0 loss to Vanderbilt.

The game was scoreless until the 87th minutes when the Commodores knocked in their first goal of the day. The second came with under ten seconds on the clock.

MU put quite a few shots on goal in the loss, with 10 on the day, but Vandy put up two more than the Tigers. Milena Fischer and Keegan Good racked up six corner kicks to Vanderbilt's two.

Bella Hollenbach had a total of three saves for Mizzou in the net.

Up next - head coach Stefanie Golan's group will stay home to host Mississippi State on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:00 p.m.
