DBLL All-Stars punch a ticket to the World Series

WHITESTOWN, Ind. (KMIZ)

The Daniel Boone Little League All-Stars defeated Floyds Knobs, Indiana Friday afternoon in the Central Regional Championship to advance to the Little League World Series.

Despite giving up three runs in the first inning, Missouri battled back to defeat Indiana 4-3.

Some key hits came from Ealynne Bostick in the fourth to tie the game and the winning hit came from pinch hitter Keelee Hagler in the fifth.

With the win, Daniel Boone will be making its second consecutive trip to the Little League World Series in Greenville, North Carolina on Aug. 9.
