Daniel Boone Little League softball headed to championship game

WHITESTOWN, Ind. (KMIZ)

The Daniel Boone Little League All-Stars defeated Boardman, Ohio on Thursday afternoon to advance to the championship of the Central Regional.

In the two games before this, Daniel Boone has outscored opponents 27-0.

This game got interesting as was interesting Ohio brought the tying run to the plate in the sixth but Rylee Ellsworth got the strikeout to close out the 5-2 victory.

Mackenna Gibson had two RBI's in the win.

Up next - Missouri will play for the championship game at 1 p.m. on Friday. Their opponent has not yet been determined.
