Back-to-back shut out wins advance DBLL softball to semifinal

WHITESTOWN, Ind. (KMIZ)

The Daniel Boone Little League All-Stars run ruled Polk City, Iowa on Wednesday afternoon to advance to the semifinals of the Central Regional.

The big 17-0 victory came credit to a good performance in the circle from Keelee Hagler giving up just five hits in the six inning shutout.

The bats were dominated by Jaylynn Brown with three hits and three RBI's and two hits and four RBI's from Mackenna Gibson.

The All-Stars are looking for the team's second-straight trip to the Little League World Series, after making the trip in 2021.

Up next - Missouri will play the winner of Ohio and Illinois in the semifinal game on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
