Mizzou softball completes coaching staff

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou softball coach Larissa Anderson named Alivia Forshey as the team's volunteer assistant coach.

Anderson said Forshey will work primarily with the hitters and the outfielders.

"Alivia is an up-and-coming future coaching star in our sport." Anderson said.

Forshey served as an assistant coach at Toledo during the 2022 season after spending time as an assistant coach at Sioux Falls and a graduate assistant at North Dakota State.

During the summer of 2021, Forshey was an assistant coach with the Beverly Bandits travel organization.

"It's an honor to have the opportunity to work with Coach Anderson, her staff, and the team. I look forward to doing everything I can to help Mizzou softball continue building champions on and off the field," Forshey said.
