ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMIZ)
The St. Louis Blues have been very active on the first day of the NHL free agency signing some players to long-term deals as well as bringing in some fresh faces.

The Blues also reached a four year, $16 million deal with defensemen Nick Leddy. They picked him up at the trade deadline and he scored 2 goals and added 6 assists in 20 games.
St. Louis also dipped into the free agency pool.
After trading goalie Ville Husso to the Red Wings during the draft, the Blues signed goalie Thomas Greiss from Detroit to a one year, $1.25 million contract.
St. Louis also picked up veteran center Noel Acciari for a one year deal worth $1.25 million.Â
The Notes also signed Will Bitten to a two-year, two-way contract.
Bitten played 45 games for the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds this season, scoring 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 total points.
St. Louis also took a big loss today as David Perron signed with the Red Wings. Perron signed a two-year deal with Detroit for a reported annual average value of $4.75 million, a raise over the $4 million he got from the Blues.
