ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

The MLB All-Star Selections are complete and five total athletes from Missouri teams will be headed to LA for the All-Star game on July 19.

On Friday, it was announced that Albert Pujols was a league "special selection" and will be making his 11th and most likely his final all-star appearance.

The starters were announced Saturday and that list included Paul Goldschmidt who has now got the award for the seventh time in his career.

Full rosters were announced Sunday, which included two other Cardinals.

Nolan Arenado will also be making his seventh appearance and relief pitcher Ryan Helsley will be getting his first trip to LA.

On the other side of the state, the Royals are sending a guy to LA. This will be outfielder Andrew Benintendi's first time being an all-star.

The game will be July 19 at 7 p.m.
