Luther Burden building “chemistry and brotherhood” at Mizzou

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

St. Louis native and Mizzou wide receiver Luther Burden greeted fans Friday at the Mercedes-Benz of Columbia.

When asked what he's been working on this summer, Burden says, "just coming together with my team and building that brotherhood and chemistry."

Although it sounds like Burden is settling in nicely at Mizzou, just like anything there are some challenges along the way.

"I had a whole family at home so being away from them and being by myself has been the biggest challenge for me," Burden said.

Burden set some pretty high goals for the team this upcoming season, he says he wants not only a winning record, but he wants the SEC Championship and he's ready to work to get it.

"I've been working all my life so there's no point in stopping now," Burden said.
