Helias standout to finish high school career in Georgia

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Helias hoops standout Desmond White announced that he will play his senior year of high school at The Skill Factory in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday.

White is fielding offers from Missouri State, Tulsa, and a couple of other schools. He also had an offer from Mizzou's previous staff with former head coach Cuonzo Martin.

The point guard's career with the Crusaders was memorable to say the least. White broke records left and right in his time at Helias. In his junior season, the group made it all the way to the state championship game and finished as the Class 5 runner up.

The Skills Factory is a known worldwide for its development of young basketball talent. The program's alumni includes 50 NBA players and more than 250 college athletes.
