Royals win series in Oakland

OAKLAND, Ca. (KMIZ)

Despite getting shut out Sunday 4-0 against the Athletics, Kansas City still ends the series with a win.

Brady Singer pitched five innings for the Royals giving up three earned runs on six hits and recorded four strikeouts.

KC couldn't seem to string anything together at the plate Sunday with just three hits, two coming from MJ Melendez.

Up next - the Royals will travel to Los Angeles for a three-game series with the Angels starting Monday at 8:30 p.m.
