FENTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Rock Bridge girls soccer team fell to Nerinx Hall 1-0 in the class four state semifinal on Friday evening. The Markers will head to the program's third-consecutive championship game.

It was a defensive battle through-and-through, as Rock Bridge held off Nerinx Hall's attack in the second half. Haylee Braun broke through with the only goal of the game for the Markers. It was her sixth one this season.

Up next - the Lady Bruins will face the loser of the St. Dominic/Liberty North game for third place on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.
