Royals lose both in two-game series at Arizona

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Royals started the week with two road losses at Arizona to fall to 14-28 on the season.

Despite a hot start in game one with four runs in the first inning, Kansas City struggled to score after that losing 9-5.

The Royals also led early in game two at 4-2 going into the fourth but the Diamondbacks had a five-run sixth inning to lead them to a 8-6 win.

KC has now lost eighth of their last 10 games.

Up next - the Royals will stay on the road and start a four-game series against the Twins Thursday at 6:40 p.m.
