Blues win in OT to avoid the season ender

The St. Louis Blues pull out the win in Denver despite trailing 3-0 in the second period.

The Blues didn't go down without a fight in game five out in Denver as the Avalanche entered the game with a 3-1 lead in the series.

Colorado got off to a hot start with three goals before the Blues even got on the board.

Notes finally get a goal from Vladimir Tarasenko with just five minutes left in the second period and two more from Robert Thomas and Justin Faulk in the third tied the game at three.

A goal a piece from both teams made it 4-4 at the end of regulation and just four minutes into OT, Tyler Bozak got the goal to avoid the season ender.

Up next - The Blues will travel back home for game six Friday at 6 p.m. The series stands at 3-2 Colorado.
