Columbia College softball advances to next round of NAIA tournament

HENDERSON, TENN. (KMIZ)

Columbia College softball won the opening round of the NAIA tournament over Madonna 3-0.

This is the Cougars 24th win in a row. Monday's game was led by Jacey Meyer and Emily King who both drove in runs.

On the mound, Lexi Dickerson pitched a complete games for the Cougars allowing just two hits and recording three strikeouts.

Up next - The Cougars will face No. 4-seed Friends (Kan.) on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
