Mizzou baseball gets senior day win over Florida

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team evened up the series with Florida, courtesy of a 5-3 senior day win on Saturday afternoon.

Torin Montgomery lifted up a three-run home run in the fifth inning to help propel the Tigers to the win. Montgomery was 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI and two runs.

Rock Bridge alum Spencer Miles put up a solid day on the hill. He pitched for six innings surrendering three runs on six hits. Ian Lohse closed out the game for MU with three scoreless innings. The win is Lohse's third save of the season.

Up next - Mizzou will meet the Gators in the rubber match on Sunday. First pitch is at 1:00 p.m.
