SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou baseball got on top first in Tuesday night's game out in Springfield, but the Bears showed some fight in the ninth to get the win for Missouri State.

No runs were scored in the matchup until the top of sixth inning, Luke Mann gets a double and Torin Montgomery smacks a two-run homer into center to put the Tigers up 2-0.

MU held onto that two-run lead into the ninth inning but the Bears managed to load up the bases.

Missouri State rips a single into right center to bring two in tying the game 2-2.

Next up, Hayden Moore hits it into left, the fielder falls down trying to get it and the Bears take the win in a last minute shocker 3-2.

Up next, Mizzou will return home for a series against Mississippi State starting Friday at 6 p.m.
