Mizzou baseball wins a close one at home against Missouri State

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou baseball hosted Missouri State Tuesday night at Taylor Stadium.

Christian Wall pitched most of game for the Tigers and Reece Lang started the game pitching for Missouri State.

Tigers got things started in the bottom of the third inning with Luke Mann hitting a two-run home run to put MU on top 2-0.

Tre Morris had a double to left field bringing in two runs extending the lead in the third 4-0 plus Morris scores on a wild pitch making it 5-0.

Missouri State scores two in the 4th inning and in the top of the 7th, Spencer Nivens hit a two-run homer to put them within one.

Mizzou goes on to win it 6-5.
