Mizzou baseball steam rolls SIUE

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team dominated SIUE on Wednesday night, 12-2 in seven innings, courtesy of a seven-run second inning. The Tigers have already matched their win total from last season, sitting 15-7 overall.

Christian Wall got the win on the mound for MU, throwing three strikeouts over three innings with just one run allowed.

Multiple Tigers contributed at the plate, as Luke Mann, Fox Leum, Carlos Pena, Mike Coletta, Nander De Sedas, and Ross Lovich all brought runners across home plate. De Sedas, a Florida State transfer, led MU with three RBI through the outing.

Up next - Mizzou will host the South Carolina Gamecocks at Taylor Stadium in a three-game series beginning on April 1. First pitch on Friday is at 6 p.m.
