No. 8 Mizzou softball drops two against No. 18 Tennessee

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou bats could not quite get hot enough to find a win in either game of a doubleheader against No. 18 Tennessee on Sunday afternoon.

MU dropped game one of the double-header in run-rule fashion, 14-3 in six innings. Game two was much more of a ball game, as the Tigers had a chance to walk it off but could not get it done in a 5-4 loss.

Up next - Mizzou will make the trip to Champaign, Ill. on Wednesday to meet the Fighting Illini in a double-header.
