Mizzou women’s basketball falls on the road to No. 21 Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team extended its losing streak to four games with a 74-49 loss to No. 21 Georgia on Thursday night.

MU's leading scorer Aijha Blackwell did not make the trip to Athens, so the scoring instead came from Hayley Frank, Ladazhia Williams, and Jayla Kelly with the co-team high 10 points apiece.

But Mizzou shot just 35 percent from the field and 20 percent from behind the arc in the loss.

Up next - MU will return home to host Mississippi State on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
