Mizzou SEC home opener postponed due to COVID-19

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou gymnastics team will have to wait until February to bring an SEC opponent to the Hearnes Center, as the group's original conference opener was postponed due to COVID-19.

The Tigers were set to host LSU on Jan. 14, however, the SEC announced the postponement on Wednesday due to COVID issues within LSU's program.

There is no makeup date scheduled for the matchup yet.

Mizzou is scheduled to return to action on Jan. 22 when it travels to North Carolina to meet the Tarheels.
