Former Mizzou quarterback commits to Indiana

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Tiger quarterback Connor Bazelak announced his commitment to Indiana on Thursday afternoon, just two weeks after he entered the transfer portal.

The quarterback will have three years of eligibility left with the Hoosiers.

Bazelak appeared in 11 games and threw for 2,540 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions through the 2021 season. In 2020, he earned SEC co-freshman of the year honors passing from more than 2,000 yards and six touchdowns.

Bazelak was recruited by Indiana before he ended up coming to Mizzou.

The Hoosiers are coming off of a 2-10 record, which included no conference wins through the 2021 season. Indiana will hope that Bazelak can help out with that.
