Mizzou WBB previews matchup with Auburn

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team will return to action on Wednesday night to host Auburn at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers have not played since their upset over No. 1 South Carolina on Dec. 30 due to COVID-19. MU took down the Gamecocks with just eight scholarship players available, but did have to postpone its matchup with Vanderbilt, which was originally scheduled for Jan. 2.

"I anticipate we'll have a few more [players] than we had last time," head coach Robin Pingeton said. "It all just changes so fast, but we're looking in pretty solid shape. Not where we want to be, but solid shape."

Auburn and Mizzou will tip off at 7 p.m. at Mizzou Arena. You can watch highlights on reaction on ABC17 after the game.
