Mizzou football previews Armed Forces Bowl from Fort Worth

FORTH WORTH, Texas (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team touched down in Forth Worth, Texas on Saturday ahead of its matchup with Army in the Armed Forces bowl on Dec. 22.

MU has an interesting connection to this game against the Black Knights. Running backs coach Curtis Luper is a U.S. Army Veteran and former coach at TCU, which is located in Forth Worth.

"It's going to feel really weird to be on the visitors side of Amon Carter Stadium because I've been on that home side for seven years," he said. "I'll probably run out and run to the wrong sideline."
