Luther Burden commits to Mizzou

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

The country's top-rated wide receiver, Luther Burden, announced his commitment to Mizzou at Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club in St. Louis on Tuesday.

The five-star recruit chose MU over Alabama and Georgia. Burden was originally committed to Oklahoma for about 10 months before announcing his de-commitment in August of 2021.

The St. Louis native visited Mizzou while the Tigers faced North Texas on Oct. 9. MU football coach Eli Drinkwitz made the trip to East St. Louis on Oct. 15 to see Burden play in person one last time before commitment day.
