Mizzou defensive back out indefinitely with torn ACL
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou defensive back Ennis Rakestraw Jr. is out indefinitely after tearing his ACL in practice on Tuesday. The team announced the news on Wednesday afternoon.
“Ennis is a tremendous competitor,” head coach Eli Drinkwitz said in a statement. “It’s an unfortunate part of the game. We have a great sports medicine staff to manage his rehabilitation and our team will support him every step of the way.”
Rakestraw is in his second season with the Tigers. He's had 13 tackles in four games this season. Rakestraw started every game as a freshman in 2020, recording 24 tackles.
