Cox adds to medal count at World Wrestling Championship

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou wrestler J'den Cox added to his impressive medal count Monday.

Cox won a bronze medal at the 2021 World Wrestling Championship in Oslo, Norway, Team USA tweeted. He was competing in the 92 kilogram weight class.

The former Mizzou wrestling standout won a bronze medal in the 2016 Olympics, as well as at the 2017 Worlds competition. He failed to make the team for the 2020 Olympics because he missed weight.
