Connor Bazelak: “We’re looking past the record”

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team will head into its matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers with a 2-2 record, following the group's loss to Boston College on Saturday.

However, quarterback Connor Bazelak said the team is not dwelling on their record.

"I think a lot of people are looking into the record and I don't think the team is that much," he said. "I think we know we were two plays away from being 4-0 right now."

The common message from the MU offense seemed to be taking things day-by-day.

"Just let it play out how it's going to play because at the end of the day you've got to give it all you've got every snap, every play, every game," offensive lineman Hyrin White said.
