Battle names former Mizzou lineman as head coach

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou offensive lineman Jonah Dubinski will take the helm of the Spartan program, just weeks after former head coach Atiyyah Ellison announced his departure.

Dubinski is a Columbia-native who played at Mizzou for four years, before medically retiring from football.

The former OL already has quite a bit of coaching expereince, including working as an assistant offensive coach at MU and as an offensive line coach at Rock Bridge High School. Most recently, Dubinski was the offensive coordinator at Capital City High School.

Battle is set to open up the 2021 season on August 27 against Fort Zumwalt North.
