Battle names third-ever boys basketball coach

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Battle Spartans announced that Central Methodist alum Ben Pallardy will be the new head of the boys basketball program, on Thursday afternoon. The hire comes after long-time head coach Brian Meny announced his retirement in June.

Pallardy will be entering his 13th season coaching hoops, after most recently working as an assistant coach for the Westminster College women's basketball team. Through his career, Pallardy has served as head coach at Russellville, Eldon, and Fayette High Schools.
