Sheldon Richardson returns to Minnesota

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou defensive standout Sheldon Richardson is back on an NFL roster. The Minnesota Vikings resigned the defensive tackle on Tuesday afternoon.

Richardson played for the Vikings back in 2018, but most recently spent time with Cleveland. He originally signed a three-year, $36 million deal with the Browns, however, the team released him just two years into that contract in April 2021.

Throughout his eight-year career, Richardson tallies 31 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, and 460 tackles.
