COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou men's golfer Ross Steelman will get to compete in an NCAA Regional later this month. He was one of 45 individuals to hear their name called during the NCAA selection show on Wednesday.

You can check out the entire field here. There are six different regionals, and each regional has either five or 10 individual participants.

The former Rock Bridge standout will play in the Noblesville, Ind. regional May 17-19. If Steelman beats the other nine players in his regional, he'll advance to the NCAA Championships at the end of the month.

Steelman is having a stellar sophomore season, which includes a win in the Tiger Invitational. He finished a new tournament record 16-under par.
