No. 15 Mizzou drops close rubber match with No. 3 Florida

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

No. 15 Mizzou softball dropped the series with No. 3 Florida, in a 3-2 loss on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers led the entire ball game, up until the 7th inning. The Gators chipped away at freshman pitcher Laurin Krings, until Hannah Adams hit a three-run bomb to take the lead.

Starting pitcher Jordan Weber threw five innings of no-hit softball, with five strikeouts and two hits in the sixth inning.

Up next - Mizzou will make the trip to Knoxville where the team will meet the Volunteers in their final regular-season weekend series.
