Mizzou baseball standout uses ‘secret weapon’ to propel his career

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou baseball standout Andrew Keefer is on his fourth collegiate stop in five years. There's been a lot of change in his life, but one thing has stayed consistent. His walk-up song.

"I just never had a second doubt that was going to be my walk up song," Keefer said.

Keefer's walk-up song is the same as legendary computer game character, Pablo Sanchez. The senior said he's done this since his high school varsity baseball days.

"Growing up a lot of kids play Xbox or Playstation or whatever, but I played computer games and my favorite one was Backyard Baseball," Keefer said.

It turns out - Keefer and Pablo have a lot in common. You can watch the full story in the video player above.
