Marching Mizzou to perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Marching Mizzou is set to perform in the 96th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2022.

The event's creative producer, Wesley Whatley, said the band will act as a representative for the state of Missouri.

"The Macy's Parade is the official kickoff to the holiday season," he said in a social media video. "Next year your band will represent you school, community, and state in front of our entire country on Thanksgiving morning."

It is the first time that Marching Mizzou has been selected to perform at the parade.
