Former Mizzou forward to transfer to Santa Clara

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou forward Parker Braun is headed to Santa Clara to continue his collegiate basketball career.

The Blue Valley Northwest grad recently entered his name into the transfer portal after spending three seasons with the Tigers. He's one of six MU players to leave the team this offseason.

Braun started at MU as a walk-on, but he quickly earned a scholarship. The 6'8" forward averaged 2.8 points and 1.5 rebounds a game as a redshirt sophomore this past season. Braun was also second on the team in blocks.

Braun will have three years of eligibility remaining with the Broncos.
