Mizzou picks up first SEC series win of the season

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team won its first SEC series of the season, following a 7-3 win over Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers trailed 2-0 heading into the 2nd inning, however, the MU bats lit up after that.

Torin Montgomery finished the outing with one home run, two hits, and three RBI.

Up next - Mizzou will travel to Columbia, South Carolina to meet the Gamecocks in a weekend series on April 9.
