Texas A&M dominates Mizzou in series opener

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team extended the losing streak to five games on Thursday evening, as they fell to Texas A&M 16-2.

The Aggies got a quick start over the Tigers, scoring two runs in each of the first three innings for a quick 6-0 lead. From there, Texas A&M poured it on.

MU's starting pitcher, Spencer Miles, allowed four earned earns over about two innings pitched.

Mizzou couldn't get going at the plate either, as the Aggies' Dustin Saenz was wheeling and dealing. He finished the night with 10 strikeouts over seven innings pitched, with no runs allowed.

The Tigers and the Aggies will meet against on Friday night at 6:30 P.M.
