Former Mizzou guard commits to Kansas State

Former Mizzou basketball player Mark Smith has committed to play for Kansas State.

He announced his decision on social media early Tuesday morning.

Smith averaged 9.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game as a senior this past season at MU. Due to the NCAA's COVID-19 waiver - Smith now has an extra year of eligibility.

Smith was one of three Mizzou players to enter the transfer portal last week - joining Xavier Pinson and Parker Braun. So far, Smith is the only one to announce his commitment to play for another school.
