Drinkwitz completes coaching staff ahead of Mizzou football spring practices
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz completed his coaching staff on Tuesday morning ahead of spring practices.

Former Tulsa assistant coach Aaron Fletcher will replace David Gibbs as MU's defensive backs coach.
Drinkwitz also created two new positions on his coaching staff. Ryan Russell will be Mizzou's director of performance, and Brett Whiteside will be MU's chief recruiting officer. Both come to Columbia after spending time at Auburn under former head coach Gus Malzahn.
Drinkwitz has also promoted former Mizzou star L'Damian Washington to director of player development.
Mizzou will begin spring practice on Friday, and the Tigers will hold their annual scrimmage on March 20.
Drinkwitz gave an injury report on Tuesday as well.

Drinkwitz added wideout JJ Hester is healthy and ready to go. Former QB Shawn Robinson is also now officially a safety for the Tigers.
